When the Girl and Chocolate Skateboards family released Pretty Sweet it was widely seen as a changing of the guard. With a roster of established pro skaters such as Mike Carroll, Rick Howard, and Kenny Anderson, the video was a way to inject new energy into the brand. That energy came in the form of the Trunk Boys, the nickname given to Cory Kennedy, Vincent Alvarez, Elijah Berle, Raven Tershy, and Stevie Perez. Kennedy and Alvarez had already turned pro for Girl and Chocolate, respectively. And on Friday, the remaining members of the Trunk Boys joined the pro ranks. Berle, Tershy, and Perez will all have their names on Chocolate boards in the very near future.
