Hovering Tree Illusion by Daniel Siering and Mario Shu

Recently in Potsdam, Germany, artists Daniel Siering and Mario Shu wrapped part of a tree trunk in plastic and then painted that portion of the tree to look like the landscape behind it. Using detailed spray paint stokes to camouflage the tree trunk into its surroundings, they created the illusion that the tree cut in half and hovering in the air.
