As the focus in hip-hop drifts further away from groups and more towards individual artists, hip-hop’s visuals are changing too. Though there are plenty of crews from Brick Squad to Young Money, the model has changed. Gone are the days when a group came out, hit it big and followed up by a barrage of solo efforts by its members. In that shuffle, the art of the logo has been lost too.

With the entire industry changing, the visual presentation of a hip-hop artist has gone from a few promo photos, album sleeves, and videos to a multimedia look.
