Neutral Milk Hotel has not spoiled after 15 years and is reuniting for a tour

It has been  been 15 years since American indie rock band Neutral Milk Hotel released In the Aeroplane Over the Sea. Since then there has been little heard from the band. Neutral Milk Hotel's founder Jeff Mangum played a surprise set at Occupy Wall Street in 2011, but that was about it. Now fans of the group can rejoice. Neutral Milk Hotel has just announced tour dates for shows starting in October. For now, it's just folks in Athens, GA, Asheville, NC, Taipei, and Tokyo that will get to see Neutral Milk Hotel, but more tour dates should be forthcoming. The lineup will include Mangum, Scott Spillane, Julian Koster, and Jeremy Barnes. Neutral Milk Hotel also released the following statement on its website:
