Burton and Mountain Dew have collaborated once again on the Green Mountain Process to transform recycled plastic bottles into snowboarding gear. To create the fabric, plastic bottles are made into pellets that are then spun into yarns and woven, resulting in select Burton products like the Breach jacket. The Breach jacket is equipped with water-resistant pockets, a removable waist gaiter and zonal mapped 3M Thinsulate insulation. Available in Burton’s Mid Fit for an overly baggy look, the Breach comes in two Green Mountain Process prints, Snow and Forest M13 Camo. You can pick up your ecofriendly Breach jacket from Burton’s online store.
