We’re big fans of alternative modes of transportation — shout out to Mountain Dew skate crew — and we know snowboarding, surfing, and biking all rule. If you live in Brooklyn as some of our staff does, you’re likely to see dudes riding around on tall bikes — two bikes welded together so the rider is high up. But what else is out there? We did our trend spotting homework, dug around the Internet, and asked people in the know. What we got was this list of the weirdest, and coolest, alternative modes of transportation.
